What is BVCAM for PC?

BVCAM for PC is a powerful app, you can use this app to connect with your BVCAM IP Cameras. The app has also many wonderful features, which make it user-friendly. You can easily get five feeds of IP cameras onto it’s services, even when you are far away from it. It is mainly a monitoring services app. So, if you wish to learn more about the app, stay with us.

How to Download BVCAM for Windows

BVCam app has been developed for Android and iOS. This app is not directly usable for PC. For this you need to take the help of Android emulator. You also need an emulator to download and install the APK of Android apps. There are many emulators in the market, I will show you how to download and install BVCam APK using Bluestacks Android Emulator here. Although the procedure for using all emulators is almost the same. However, follow the instructions below to download and install BVCam APK on your PC.

  • First of all. Download bluestacks to your PC from the official site of bluestacks.
  • Go to the download folder and install the same file.
  • When the installation is complete, open the emulator. After opening, provide the email and password if you want.
  • Then, install the APK file. (Before that you need to download the APK file on your PC).

How to Use BVCAM for PC

If you wish to use the BVCAM App properly, you can follow the user manual guide below that will be helpful to you to maintain its various settings.

Get Camera Ready

To get the camera ready, you have to perform the following steps below.

  • If you wish to get a camera ready, first make sure your camera is fully charged before using. For more use the camera connects it to an outlet AC  power supply using the USB cable and power adapter provided.
  • Format and fit the micro SD card securely into the camera’s SD card slot. Or it will not work, we will recommend you use a SDHC class 10 Micro SD card.
  • Scan the QR code to download the BVCAM app for Android, iPhone and iPad.

Network Setup

Option One: Configuration using a Micro SD Card.

  • First format the Micro SD card on your PC computer. Then create a file named “ WiFi.txt” in the Micro SD card. Now open it and input your WiFi network SSID and Password.
  • Then power on the camera by sliding the Power Switch to the On position. It will take 15-30 second to connect to your WiFi network.
  • When the blue indicator light keeps flashing and the red one stays illuminated, it means the WiFi configuration is complete, At this point, connect your mobile service to another WiFi network.
  • Then launch the BVCAM App, then click “+”, Add the new online Device, then input the camera’s UID, which is a combination of numbers and letters specific to your camera and type in the default password “8888”. At the final stage, click OK to add a camera. If the camera shows online, it means you have access to the internet.

Option two: Through BVCAM App

LAN (P2P) Mode Setup

  • First power on the hook camera by sliding the Power Switch to the ON position. For the WiFi signal to appear, it will take up to 3 minutes.
  • In the WLAN setting page on your phone or mobile device, connect to the camera’s WiFi signals named “CM*****”. Now wait for the WiFi to be connected and your phone status bar will appear as a WiFi symbol.
  • Now run the BVCAM App. 
  • Then Add the camera to the BVCAM App. You can perform it following the directions below.

For Android Devices: First tap the “+” icon, then Add the new online device, then Search for the camera, then tap the camera icon, finally tap the OK button.

For iOS devices: First tap the “+” icon, then Add the new online camera, then Search for the camera, then tap the camera icon, finally tap the OK button.

  • Now check the Live Video page, if the camera shows online it means the camera’s P2P setup is successful.

Remote View Setup (WAN Mode)

If you wish to set up a remote view  in BVCAM app, make sure that the camera is successfully added to the App and it’s online in the P2P mode, then follow the below directions.

  • First launch the BVCAM App. 
  • On the Live Video page, tap the Setting icon.
  • Then you have to choose Advance Config or Device Setting.
  • Now GB to WiFi Config page and then select a WiFi hotspot to enroll the camera in.
  • Then you have to tap OK to complete the remote view setup, then the camera will reboot automatically.

Motion Detection Recording Setup

If you want to set up a Motion Detection Recording Setup, you have to check first that the camera is added to the App in LAN or WAN mode before the setup starts. Then follow the instructions below.

  • First launch the BVCAM App.
  • On the Live Video page, tap the Setting icon.
  • Then you have to choose Advance Config or Device Setting.
  • Now GB to Alarm Config page. Here you can set a desired alarm sensitivity level, alarm interval time and alarm schedule. 
  • Then you have to tap OK to complete.
  • Now you can go back to the Live Video page, then tap Record on the bottom of the screen and then tap Remote SD Card to check out the video files.

Recording Video to Smartphone or Tablet PC

If you want to record video to your Smartphone or Tablet PC, you have to check first that the camera is added to the App in LAN or WAN before you start. Then follow the instructions below.

  • First launch the BVCAM App, then tap the camera icon to get into the live video screen.
  • Then tap the Video recording button and audio button to start or stop video recording. If you are an Android user, your video files will be saved on your mobile device’s flash memory, or if you’re an iOS user, the video will be saved in the App.
  • Now GB back to the Live Video page, then tap the Record button of the bottom screen, and then tap Local to check out the video files. 

Recording Video to Local Micro SD Card

If you want to record video to your Local Micro SD Card, first you have to check that the camera is added to the App in LAN or WAN mode before you start. Then follow the steps below.

  • First launch the BVCAM App.
  • On the Live Video page, tap the Setting icon.
  • Then you have to select Advance Config or Device Setting.
  • Now GB to SD Card Record Config page, and select All Day, then you have to set a desired recording mode and files length.
  • Finally tap the OK button to complete the SD Video Recording settings. You find the video files in the Micro SD Card of this camera.
